A workshop of a few people — and that's deliberate.
IOANN is a product engineering atelier: we design and ship AI and web products to production. The team is small and senior-first, so hiring is rare and selective. Here's an honest account of how the work is set up and who we look for when we do.
Senior-first
A small team without management overhead or long approval chains. No junior conveyor belt and no “pass it along” roles.
The whole product
An engineer sees the task from framing to production, not a slice in the middle. Hence the requirement: a broad scope, not a single technology.
The name on the work
We put our name on what we build. That means personal responsibility for the result and the right to say “we shouldn't do it this way”.
Our own products in parallel
Part of our time goes into our own products. That's not a side hustle but a way to keep the team in real product discipline.
There are no published positions on this page right now. That's the normal state for a workshop of a few people: we expand around a specific scope of work, not just in case.
If your profile matches what's described above, write anyway. We read applications and come back to them when a seat opens.
Are there open positions right now?
We don't run continuous hiring: the team is small and grows selectively, around a specific scope of work. Open positions, when there are any, are published on this page. We also read applications outside a hiring round — if the scope matches, we'll come back when a seat opens.
Work format and location?
We work remotely, in Russian and English. The legal entity is Ioann Technologies LLC.
Do you take juniors or interns?
The model is senior-first: in a small team nobody can mentor without hurting the product. That's not about the candidate's quality — it's that we can't offer proper mentorship.
How do I apply?
An email to info@ioann-ai.ru or a message on Telegram. More useful than a CV: a link to something you took to production and a couple of lines on what problem it solved.
