EyeMesearing: ophthalmic parameters from an eye photo.
Automated calculation of ophthalmic parameters from an eye photograph: MRD1, MRD2 and others, segmentation, integration with clinics and telemedicine. Applied computer vision taken to production.
01The task
Ophthalmic parameters such as MRD1 and MRD2 are measured by hand, and the result depends on who measured and how. That's slow and poorly reproducible across specialists and visits.
02What we built
A CV pipeline: segmentation of eye structures from a photograph and calculation of parameters from the resulting geometry. The key requirement is reproducibility: the same photo must yield the same result.
03Integration
The calculation is embedded into clinic and telemedicine flows: the result lands where people work with it instead of sitting in a separate tool you have to open on purpose.
04IOANN's role
The CV pipeline, parameter calculation and clinic/telemedicine integration in one engineering cycle.
